マヤの人々に語り継がれる太陽誕生の物語。
呪術が使える末っ子のネネが活躍します。
荒木は挿絵を担当。

⚪︎レニャテーロス工房とは
メキシコのチアパス州にあるマヤ系先住民を中心メンバーとする
紙すき・版画・製本を手がける工房です。
リサイクル素材の原料に現地の植物を漉き込み、
マヤの伝統や文化に根ざした本等を制作しています。
荒木は2006年頃より工房との付き合いが始まり、
後に絵本”NeNe Sol” の共同制作をしました。
